Term 2

Primary 3 have made a great start to term 2. Pupils have been setting their personal targets for this term. In maths we have begun to extend our learning in counting and using money, along with our Big Maths programme.

Children have been using our imagination to write stories and we have also created Autumn themed poems.  We are beginning to learn how to write a report.

Outdoor Learning

On this lovely autumn morning primary 3 have been busy outdoors. We started by adding to our compost pile and look for worms. We then set up our pots for our What Plants Need to Grow investigation. Following break time we went into the Nature garden to explore the patterns of bark on tree trunks, each pupil made a bark rubbing and leaf rubbing for a tree of their choice. This afternoon pupils will be taking part in bike ability and we will be exploring 2D and 3D shape in our playground.
