Jamie brought in the interesting plant he grew at home. The leaves are soft and fluffy, just like lambs lugs.
We have been exploring the properties of 3D shapes and have been working on patterns. We have been creating weaved patterns using repeating colours.
On this lovely autumn morning primary 3 have been busy outdoors. We started by adding to our compost pile and look for worms. We then set up our pots for our What Plants Need to Grow investigation. Following break time we went into the Nature garden to explore the patterns of bark on tree trunks, each pupil made a bark rubbing and leaf rubbing for a tree of their choice. This afternoon pupils will be taking part in bike ability and we will be exploring 2D and 3D shape in our playground.
