P2/3 came ready today to Power Off and Learn Outdoors (P.O.L.O). All children thourghly enjoyed the day and has a great experience using their natural environment to learn.  The children started off hunting the nature garden to find natural resources that they could use to decorate and Easter egg.

They then designed their own Woodland Potion labels. These labels told us the name of the potion and the ingredients in it. After they had designed these and attached them to their bottles it was time to hunt the playground for their ingredients. This was not as easy as they thought. Many found their ingredients too big to fit in their botttles and had to figure out how to make them fit. The potions all looked fantastic when completed.

Well done P2/3, you showed what it looked like to really Power Off and Learn Outdoors! You should all be very proud of yourselves!
