As part of our Scottish Food topic we had a tasting session in class. We tried a range of Scottish foods. We all got small samples of salmon, oatcakes, Irn Bru, porridge, shortbread, square sausage, and some of us even tried real haggis, others had vegetable haggis. Have a look at us tasting foods from Scotland.

Our Art Is Phenomenal !
As part of our Scottish Food and Drink topic we created collages of a very famous Scottish drink. We tore orange and blue paper and stuck it down to create our own cans of IRN BRU! Have a look at us hard at work
Senses Poem
This morning we put on our jackets, hats and gloves and went outside. We were outside using our senses to see what we could , hear , taste, feel , smell and see. We touched the snow covered grass, picked up icy cold leaves, listened to the snow crunch under our feet and watch the sun begin to rise behind the trees. We used these experiences in class to help us write our senses poem. Here are some of the things we wrote
” I can see the snow settling on the groound and trees. ” -Logan
“I feel a crunchy leaf” Kayden
“I taste the crisp air” Abira
“I smell the smoke from the chimneys” Craig & Louie
“I hear the snow crunch beneath my feet” Ellie – Mae
