They promote and support Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) \u2013 the international day on 27 January to remember the six million Jews murdered during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmd.org.uk\/learn-about-the-holocaust-and-genocides\/the-holocaust\/\">Holocaust<\/a>, alongside the millions of other people killed under\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmd.org.uk\/learn-about-the-holocaust-and-genocides\/nazi-persecution\/\">Nazi Persecution<\/a>\u00a0and in genocides that followed in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmd.org.uk\/learn-about-the-holocaust-and-genocides\/cambodia\/\">Cambodia<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmd.org.uk\/learn-about-the-holocaust-and-genocides\/rwanda\/\">Rwanda<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmd.org.uk\/learn-about-the-holocaust-and-genocides\/bosnia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bosnia<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmd.org.uk\/learn-about-the-holocaust-and-genocides\/darfur\/\">Darfur<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) 2021 is\u00a0<strong>Be the light in the darkness<\/strong>.
