Homework

Homework can be crucial in reinforcing or extending teaching points already made in class, as well as preparing pupils for increasing responsibility for their own workload as they grow older. Pupils can
expect to have 15-25 minutes homework per night during the week. The tasks may vary according tothe focus of the class at that time and may include research tasks for projects. Pupils are more
motivated when guardians express an interest in or support for their child’s work and we are grateful that so many parents support us in this way. It is also the policy of the school that any build up of
unfinished work, which could have been completed in class, may be sent home for completion, though this would be a cause for concern if it happened regularly.
