In Taylor High School S1 is known as the Transition Curriculum, S2 as the Progression Curriculum and S3 as the Immersion Curriculum.<\/p>\n

As our young people move into the Immersion Curriculum they will be asked to make some choices about the subjects that they study in order to develop some specialisation.<\/p>\n

In S3 learners will follow the Immersion Curriculum structure below;<\/p>\n

While every attempt will be made to accommodate each choice in each column, this may not always be possible.\u00a0 E.g. If there are too few pupils choosing a subject.\u00a0 If this happens Pupil Support Staff will conduct a second interview and help to select another subject.<\/p>\n

Students should ensure that they make choices for the correct reason and not because they like the teacher, their friend is picking it etc.\u00a0 The pupil may wish to research a specific career before making their choices.\u00a0 If the young person is unsure of a career path then the best advice is to choose widely.\u00a0\u00a0 Pupil Support Staff are always on hand to offer advice about choices.<\/p>\n
