<\/a><\/p>\nIn response to Covid-19, Speakers for Schools launched\u00a0our\u00a0Virtual Talks\u00a0(VTalks)\u00a0and Virtual Work Experience (VWEX)\u00a0programmes\u00a0to help speakers continue to engage\u00a0and support\u00a0young people studying at home and those still attending school across the UK.<\/p>\n
Since our first VTalk two months ago,\u00a0Speakers for Schools has delivered over 50 VTalks to almost 55,000 young people<\/strong>. We continue to deliver insightful and engaging talks from some of today\u2019s most inspiring figures across business, arts, politics, journalism, STEM and more, to help young people fuel their ambitions and open their minds to different ideas and career paths. Speakers coming soon\u00a0include\u00a0Britbox\u00a0<\/strong>Group Launch Director Reemah Sakaan,\u00a0Oscar Nominee<\/strong>\u00a0Writer \/ Director Armando Iannucci,\u00a0Tik Tok<\/strong>\u00a0General Manager Richard Waterworth and\u00a0John Frieda<\/strong> Creative Director Zoe Irwin.<\/p>\n Our VWEX now works with 56 leading employers to offer Virtual Work Experience to young people across the UK. These include\u00a0PwC, Bank of England, Google, Spotify and\u00a0Cisco<\/strong>.\u00a0 We were thrilled to hear that\u00a0Gatsby now recognises Virtual Work Experience<\/strong>\u00a0toward Gatsby 5 & 6.<\/p>\n
