Key worker information<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n

School Support for Key Workers<\/strong><\/p>\n

The list of schools below will be open from Tuesday March 24 for the children of key workers. All other schools will be fully closed.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is\u00a0essential<\/strong>, to stop the spread of\u00a0coronavirus, that people who can work from home do work from home. If you have a partner who is not a key worker they\u00a0must<\/strong>\u00a0provide childcare. This is not business as usual and it is vital that this support being offered is only accessed by those who absolutely require it to enable NHS and other critical services to function.<\/p>\n

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES\u00a0<\/strong>should any child who has symptoms of coronavirus, or who lives in a household where someone has symptoms, present at school. The whole family must follow the\u00a0self-isolation advice.<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Schools open between 9am and 3pm<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If your child normally goes to school in\u00a0MOSSEND, NEW STEVENSTON,\u00a0HOLYTOWN\u00a0and surrounding villages:\u00a0<\/strong>
\nPlease take your child to\u00a0New Stevenston Primary School, Coronation Rd East, New Stevenston, Motherwell ML1 4HX<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Stevenston Primary is the venue for all Taylor High Pupils whose parents are both key workers.<\/p>\n

All parents\/carers will need to complete a keyworker form on arrival at the hub school.<\/p>\n

If you are a parent\/carer of a child who attends an LCSC unit, and you require school support as you are a key worker, your child should attend the nearest school to you as listed above and below.<\/p>\n

If your child normally goes to school in\u00a0CUMBERNAULD<\/strong>:
\nPlease take your child to\u00a0Cumbernauld Academy<\/strong>, South Kildrum Ring Rd, Cumbernauld G67 2UF<\/p>\n

If your child normally goes to school in\u00a0AIRDRIE<\/strong>\u00a0and surrounding villages:

If your child normally goes to school in\u00a0BELLSHILL<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0VIEWPARK<\/strong>:

If your child normally goes to school in\u00a0MOTHERWELL<\/strong>:
\nPlease take your child to\u00a0Our Lady’s High School<\/strong>, Dalzell Drive, Motherwell ML1 2DG<\/p>\n

If your child normally goes to school in\u00a0WISHAW<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0surrounding areas:
\nPlease take your child to\u00a0Clyde Valley High School<\/strong>, Castlehill Rd, Wishaw ML2 0QS<\/p>\n

If your child normally goes to school in\u00a0SHOTTS<\/strong>\u00a0and surrounding areas:
\nPlease take your child to\u00a0Calderhead High School<\/strong>, Dyfrig St, Shotts ML7 4DH<\/p>\n

Volunteer staff should attend hub school nearest their place of work for 8.45am.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Transport<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key workers must take their child to the relevant school hub as listed above. No school transport will run.<\/p>\n

\n

Free school meals<\/strong><\/p>\n

For those children who are eligible, and who require this service, please come to the schools listed above between 12.30pm and 1.15pm. We are working very hard to provide a more localised service and will announce details in due course.<\/p>\n

\n

ASN Schools<\/strong><\/p>\n

ASN schools will continue to be open for those who require key worker support. We are continuing to assess the specific requirement for children and will make further announcements as soon as we can. ASN transport for those requiring it, will run.<\/p>\n

\n

Early Years Provision<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key workers who require care should their\u00a0child to their\u00a0usual establishment on Tuesday 24 March. New childcare arrangements will be made in the coming days with our funded providers and Family Learning Centres.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
