If you would like your child to receive a login for Nessy Reading can you please contact Mrs Brown via email: gw09brownann5@glow.sch.uk<\/p>\n<p>Usually Nessy Reading is accessed through a Web Browser however Nessy are offering availability through a <strong>free<\/strong> app for Android and Apple called\u00a0<strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Nessy Learning<\/span><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 along with other free apps from <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Monday 27th &#8211; Wednesday 29th April only.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Nessy also offers other apps designed for pre-school and primary school kids &#8211; ages 3-8 years old.<\/p>\n<p>The Nessy Hairy apps:<\/p>\n<p>These apps teach LETTER SOUNDS and early sound blending, foundational PHONICS with consonant digraphs and vowel digraphs, and teach the 100 most frequent SIGHT WORDS.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Hairy Letters<\/span><br \/>\nMaster the alphabet with the help of the Hairies!<br \/>\nLearn how to write all 26 letters. \u00a0Learn the letter sounds.<br \/>\nPlay games to blend the sounds into 3-letter words!<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Available for free on Apple only (\u00a32.99 on Android)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Hairy Phonics 1<\/span><br \/>\nAfter learning the letters, learn how they sometimes work together as consonant digraphs (that\u2019s two letters that come together to make one sound).<br \/>\nMaster this and other early phonics with the Haries!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><em>Available for free on Android or Apple<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Hairy Phonics 2<\/span><br \/>\nVowel digraphs are two letters that come together to make one sound!
