Each year in St Timothy’s we fund-raise for charities during lent.\u00a0 This year we will be supporting 3 charities:<\/p>\n
SCIAF, St Andrew’s Hospice and Brain Tumour Research<\/p>\n
Lenten Fundraiser 1\u00a0 \u00a0 Fun Afternoon\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Friday 8th March 1:30pm-3pm<\/p>\n
On this afternoon there will be a range of activities available for the children to take part in e.g netball shoots, beat the goalie, guess the dolls birthday,raffles and a cafe to name but a few.\u00a0 Children should “raid their piggy banks” and bring their money into school to take part in these activities.\u00a0 On the day children can come to school “dressed down ” and do not need to wear their uniform.<\/p>\n

Lenten Fundraiser 2\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Whole School Quiz\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Friday 15th March<\/p>\n
The whole school quiz will run all week.\u00a0 Children will be in teams comprising of P1-7 .\u00a0 On Friday the 15th of March the children will pay 50p or \u00a31 per family to “dress down” and watch the semi- final and final of the quiz.<\/p>\n

Lenten Fundraiser 3\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Wear a Hat to School\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Friday 22nd of March<\/p>\n
To support brain tumor research Children will pay 50p or \u00a31 per family to come “dressed down” and wearing a hat of their choice.<\/p>\n
