Welcome to the new academic year which began for pupils on Thursday\u00a017th August 2016.<\/p>\n
The senior management structure consists of Mr Forbes – Head Teacher, Mr Robertson – Depute Head Teacher and three Principal Teachers – Miss Walsh, Mrs Hannaway and Mr Fawcett. \u00a0However as\u00a0you may know, we are using part of our Pupil Equity Funding to alter our management structure this year. Therefore Mrs Hannaway will be undertaking an Acting Depute Role this year\u00a0with a focus on closing the attainment gap. An\u00a0\u00a0acting principal teacher will be appointed as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
There\u00a0will be a few faces missing from the staff. Mrs\u00a0Jamieson has taken up a class teacher’s post in St Gerard’s primary. Mrs Jamieson was part of St. Timothy’s for 23 years. Mrs Bryce has taken up an Early years practitioner role in Dunbeth Nursery. We wish them well in their new posts.<\/p>\n
Mrs Barr\u00a0returned from maternity leave.<\/p>\n
Both Mrs Berry and Mrs O\u2019Donnell have changed their role and are now ASNAs (additional support needs assistants). They will be based in both the nursery and the school supporting our learners.<\/p>\n
We welcome a few new faces also –\u00a0Mr Walsh who will be teaching P5\/6 and Mrs Brown who will take up the teaching role in the Phonological Centre.<\/p>\n
