It is important that pupils come prepared to learn and for P.E this requires appropriate clothing. All jewellery should be removed.
\nPupils who are not participating in P.E must have a note or a medical certificate.<\/p>\n
There are forms of dress that are unacceptable in school, such as items of clothing which:
\n\u00b7 Potentially encourage factions (such as football colours)
\n\u00b7 Could cause health and safety difficulties such as jewellery.<\/p>\n
All jewellery should be removed for P.E including earrings. Where earrings cannot be removed, parents should provide elastoplasts or micropore tape to cover earrings during lessons. The school cannot provide this or be responsible for the removal of, or safeguarding of pupils’ jewellery during the P.E lesson.<\/p>\n
Vest tops with thin straps and crop tops are not practical for P.E lessons.<\/p>\n
Therefore acceptable P.E kit should comprise of:
\n\u00b7 t-shirt
\n\u00b7 shorts\/ jogging bottoms or leggings (the latter is more practical for outdoor lessons)
\n\u00b7 gym shoes\/trainers<\/p>\n
Each class receives two sessions of P.E per week. It will be delivered by their own class teacher. Some of this P.E will be outdoors. Class teachers will inform their pupils when this will be.<\/p>\n
Primary 5 pupils have Swimming and Dry Sports on to be confirmed<\/span> at the Time Capsule. Please remember swimming clothes, P.E kit and \u00a31 for a locker on this day. Times are as follows: (to be confirmed for 2018-2019)<\/span> Please see table for P.E times. Where classes have P.E at 9:00 -10:40a.m, the pupils may come to school dressed appropriately for the P.E lesson, however they must also bring school uniform to change into afterwards. Pupils who have P.E last session will be allowed to leave school in their P.E kit.
