P7 Leavers Information

Dear Parents/Carers of P7 Pupils,

As you are aware we have been unable to have our usual P7 activities to celebrate and say farewell to our P7 pupils before they make the next step to High School. Please find below details of some activities which will hopefully allow us to mark this important occasion in your child’s life.

Visit to St Timothy’s

Please see the document below which provides details of a short planned visit to the school for our P7 pupils next Friday 19th June. Due to current social distancing guidelines it is vital that everyone follows the steps given in the document and adheres to the allocated time for visiting. We look forward to seeing you all.

  • Each child can bring a maximum of 2 adults. Please do not bring any other children.
  • Weather permitting families should arrive at the main gate (where children normally exit the school)
  • Families should follow any signage directing them where to go.
  • All visitors will be asked to apply the provided hand gel.

P7 Leavers Information

Leavers MassĀ

Fr Kevin has kindly facilitated a virtual Leavers mass for our P7 children. This will be at 1.30pm on Friday 19th June and will most likely be via Teams. We will send more details for how to join this celebration our your child’s time at St Timothy’s closer to the time.

Time Capsule Activity

Next week’s Home Learning grid will have a Time Capsule activity (I know some children may have already completed this, if they have there is no need to repeat the activity). If your child would like a memento of their time at St Timothy’s or a memento of their time during Lockdown added to our School Time Capsule then please bring this with you to the visit on Friday and we will arrange for it to be put into our School Time Capsule. This will then be buried and dug up at some time in the future.

Family Celebration

Another part of next week’s Home Learning Grid will be to plan and prepare a celebration with their family to mark the end of their time in St Timothy’s. This would mark the time when we would have traditionally had this celebration in school. This might be a family movie night, a BBQ (weather permitting), cooking their favourite meal or baking a cake. You can share your celebration with us via Teams, E-mail or our school Twitter page.

Finally I hope you are all safe and well and I look forward to seeing you all again on the 19th June.

Kind Regards

M Rigg

Principal Teacher PEF (Acting)
