Through our <strong>Smart School Council<\/strong>, all pupils have regular opportunities to share their views, discuss issues that matter to them and contribute to school improvement. This approach ensures that pupil voice extends beyond a small group of representatives, enabling every child to participate in meaningful decision-making.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Our Smart School Council supports the aims of <strong>Curriculum for Excellence<\/strong> by developing confident individuals, responsible citizens, effective contributors and successful learners. Through discussion, collaboration and leadership opportunities, pupils develop important skills in communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork.<\/p>\n<p>This work also reflects the principles of the <strong>United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)<\/strong>, particularly <strong>Article 12<\/strong>, which states that children have the right to express their views and have these taken seriously in decisions that affect them.
