The children will participate in many health based lessons and activities e.g. healthy eating activities and discussions, heart start lessons, physical activities, daily mile, outdoor PE (weather permitting) and use of trim trail. The purpose of this week is to encourage healthy lifestyle choices.<\/p>\n<p>Outlined below is a timetable of events:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Health Talks from St. Andrews Hospice (all classes<\/p>\n<p>Fitness stations in gym hall (all classes)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dance Crew Presentation to school<\/p>\n<p>All classes will be allocated a Street Dance Session<\/p>\n<p>Tesco Food Talks for P2\/3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Primary 5 Retreat in St. John Bosco&#8217;s Church Hall &#8211; children should bring a packed lunch. If you do not wish your child to attend, please contact the school.<\/p>\n<p>P4\/5 Tesco Food Talks<\/p>\n<p>P7 Bikeability<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>P6 Bikeability<\/p>\n<p>Girls football tournament (organised by a P6 pupil)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>P1 to 3 a talk by the Dental Nurse<\/p>\n<p>Toothbrushing<\/p>\n<p>School Sports (with a Commonwealth Theme) 1:20 on Football Pitch (All Welcome)\u00a7<\/p>\n<p><strong>Family Fun Night in St. John Bosco&#8217;s Church Hall, Friday 27th April, 7:00 till late.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tickets on sale in school from 9:00-9:30<\/p>\n<p>Cost:\u00a0 \u00a33.00 adults\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Children \u00a32.00<\/p>\n<p><strong>All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Health Week Children should wear sports clothes to school all week &#8211; no football colours.
