It is with great trepidation I am informing you of my upcoming Retirement at Christmas. I have been in teaching for over 40 years and I have loved all of those years \u201cmost\u201d of the time. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at St. Patrick\u2019s. I describe and refer to it as my \u201chomecoming\u201d as I have lived my life 1\u00bd miles from the school.<\/p>\n
I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all of the support I have received from all of you over the last 6 years. For me it has been an extremely difficult decision to make, however I feel the time is right.<\/p>\n
St. Patrick\u2019s will always have a special place in my heart \u2013 it is a nurturing, respectful and very welcoming school community. I feel these qualities have been extended to me over the years. It has been an honour and a pleasure to work with children, staff and parents. Your children are fabulous and I will miss each and everyone of them.<\/p>\n
Once more thank you for your support. I am sure when I leave, the school will go from strength to strength.<\/p>\n
