As part of health week, the fire brigade came to our school to remind us how to stay safe at home in the event of a fire and taught us how to prevent them in the first place. We know we should turn off all electrical appliances and if we’re ever on fire, we should stop, drop and roll. Mrs Smith beautifully modelled a fire fighter’s uniform! For topic, we are learning about waste minimisation. Today, we had a treasure hunt to find letters with matching numbers. We then had to figure out the values of our topic related words, find the word with the highest value and find the difference between that word and the one with the smallest value. We had so much fun!
