Primary 5 have been investigating water hardness and softness. \u00a0We found that we have soft water in our taps, the water has between 0mg\/L CaCO3 and 50mg\/L of CaCO3.<\/p>\n

We also investigated the Mpemba Effect. \u00a0 Our results have shown that in most cases the cold water froze faster than the warm water.<\/p>\n

However one result showed that the warm water froze faster, this is because of a variation in liquid amounts.<\/p>\n

We concluded that in science experiments you can get lots of different results, our predictions are not always correct. \u00a0Mpemba noticed in 1963 that warm water froze faster than cold water, however many scientists argue with this conclusion. \u00a0The question whether warm water \u00a0or cold water freezes first is still being debated today.<\/p>\n
