{"id":4352,"date":"2021-01-13T11:56:37","date_gmt":"2021-01-13T11:56:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stmaryscleland\/?p=4352"},"modified":"2021-01-13T11:59:28","modified_gmt":"2021-01-13T11:59:28","slug":"p1-enrolment-21-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stmaryscleland\/2021\/01\/13\/p1-enrolment-21-22\/","title":{"rendered":"P1 Enrolment 21\/22"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1 March 2021 and 28 February 2022 should register for starting Primary 1 in August 2021.<\/p>\n<p>North Lanarkshire Council have devised a new system for Registration of Infant Beginners to support the ongoing response to COVID-19.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will not be invited into school to complete the registration form.<\/li>\n<li>Enrolment and Placing Request forms are now available for parents\/carers to complete online and email to individual schools.<\/li>\n<li>The following link will provide you with further information:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk\/schools-and-learning\/school-admissions\/registration-infant-beginners-primary-school\">https:\/\/www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk\/schools-and-learning\/school-admissions\/registration-infant-beginners-primary-school<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The enrolment form and a list of email addresses for returning forms will also be sent on a separate email.<\/li>\n<li>Please complete the enrolment form to register your child for starting Primary 1 in August 2021 and submit it by 22nd January 2021.<\/li>\n<li>Completed forms should be sent directly to your catchment school.<\/li>\n<li>The email address that should be used for parents living in St Mary\u2019s catchment area is: enquiries@st-marys-motherwell.n-lanark.sch.uk<\/li>\n<li>All applications need to be supported by a copy of your child\u2019s birth certificate and proof of address. This should be a council tax bill. An up to date Council Tax Bill can be obtained from the NLC One Stop Shop.<\/li>\n<li>A picture can be taken and emailed to the school along with the completed application.<\/li>\n<li>Please note you have the right to make a placing request to a school of your choice.
