This policy is explained clearly to all pupils and appropriate rewards\/sanctions are agreed on an annual basis after consultation with staff and pupils. The relationship between a pupil and teacher is similar to that between a child and his or her own parents, requiring mutual consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Our aim is to encourage and foster self-discipline in our pupils. To this end, pupils, teachers and parents should have similar expectations with regard to good behaviour and consideration for others. Each class has a point system whereby children may gain points for themselves and their group for good work, effort, and courteousness. Children displaying these qualities are<br \/>\ncelebrated each week during our Achievers Assembly.
