{"id":138,"date":"2022-05-05T15:15:59","date_gmt":"2022-05-05T14:15:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stmargaretshigh\/?page_id=138"},"modified":"2022-05-12T13:21:57","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T12:21:57","slug":"online-school-payments","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stmargaretshigh\/parents\/online-school-payments\/","title":{"rendered":"Online School Payments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>You will need a unique IpayImpact Account Reference Number for each of your children in order to use Online Payments.\u00a0 This is available from the School Office through calling 01236 794888.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Online Payments for School Meals and other School Purchases<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Online payments have been introduced in all schools across North Lanarkshire to provide parents\/carers with more convenient and flexible methods of payment for school expenses.\u00a0 This service will also allow pupils to reduce the amount of cash they carry to school and help reduce administration and cash handling in schools. \u00a0Cash and cheque payments can still be made in the same way as at present.<\/p>\n<p>The new safe and secure payment system, called iPayImpact, has been introduced in this school. \u00a0\u00a0In addition to being able to pay online for school uniform, trips and other school expenses, this system links directly with the catering management system.\u00a0 As soon as you add funds for school meals, the money will immediately be available for your child\/children to spend in the school canteen.<\/p>\n<p>If you set up an online account, whether you pay online or not you will be able to see the balance on your child\/children\u2019s school meal account and what they have purchased with the funds, you will also be able to see what trips etc. are available to them and what balances require payment.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>How do I pay online?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>REGISTER YOUR ACCOUNT<\/p>\n<p>For you to use the online payment service, you need to register with MyAccount, the simple and secure sign-in service for accessing online public services in Scotland.\u00a0 It provides people living in Scotland with the ability to set up an online account and use it &#8211; using a single user name and password to access a growing range of online public services.<\/p>\n<p>Go to \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk\/schoolpayments\">www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk\/schoolpayments<\/a> and select make a payment. \u00a0If you already have a myaccount click on the <strong>Sign-In<\/strong> logo and log in with your MyAccount details.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t already have a MyAccount, setting up an online account involves a simple registration process, to do this click on the <strong>Register<\/strong> logo.\u00a0 Once you\u2019ve registered by providing a minimal amount of information, including about you and where you live, you\u2019ll be sent two emails; one with a username and another with a one-time use password.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To ACTIVATE your account you need to click on the link provided in this email.\u00a0 You will then be able to Login using the user name and one time use password provided.\u00a0 <\/strong>Once you sign in, you\u2019ll be prompted to create a new password.<\/p>\n<p>Once logged into iPayImpact, you will be asked to enter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Child Account Ref<\/strong> &#8211;
