This week our P3\/4 scientists took part in an Ice Investigation with Miss Fergusson exploring different methods of melting.<\/p>\n

We decided to time three different methods of melting ice to see which one would be the quickest.<\/p>\n

The methods were:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. In our hands.<\/li>\n
  2. At room temperature.<\/li>\n
  3. Under a high heat.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To make sure the experiment was fair we used equal sizes of ice for each method.<\/p>\n

    We made our predictions and then undertook our experiments.<\/p>\n

    After timing the three different methods our results showed us that ice melts quickest under a high heat.<\/p>\n
