Today the children took part in forest kindergarten, where the children have the opportunity to learn about the natural environment, How to handle risk, most importantly to use their own initiative to solve problems and how to co- operate with their peers. This helps build confidence, self-esteem and learn about boundaries. The children all had a fantastic time making swing, playing on a sea saw, climbing trees, treasure hunts, jumping in the mud, making a shelter in case it rained and even built a pee tree! The children were able to use their own initiative to risk assess areas making sure they were safe to use.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
