Primary 3\/4 have enjoyed a very busy and productive week .<\/p>\n
This week we enjoyed learning about the first hot air balloon ride which happened in Paris in 1783 . Two brothers called Joseph \u00a0and Jacque Montgolfier invented the first balloon . We learned that the first passengers were in fact farm animals . There was a sheep , a rooster and a duck . The special event was watched by King Louis XVI and Queen Antoinette .<\/p>\n
In class we enjoyed writing our own imaginative stories about a balloon ride . We also enjoyed designing a balloon to display in our classroom . Well done to all our wonderful star writers .<\/p>\n
To end the week we all enjoyed learning about the importance of keeping a healthy body and mind . We took part in yoga and meditation session to help us understand how to relax at home and school . To celebrate everything we learn we all create a mindfulness flower to remind us of how we can look after each other .<\/p>\n
