We had a fantastic\u00a0visit today from Steph the local Community Police Officer. He talked to the children about Stranger Danger. He explained that if a stranger approached the children they had to firstly shout “No,No” then run to their parents and tell them what had happened. He also talked about the importance of\u00a0road safety which is very relevant at the moment due to the diverted traffic. All of the children had the opportunity to see the police van, sit inside it and operate the sirens and lights.\u00a0We are very appreciative to Steph for taking time to visit us during a very busy time for Police Scotland. We hope this is the beginning of a strong link between the local community police and the nursery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
