This week Primary 5\/6 enjoyed listening to everyone’s fabulous and very interesting personal talks .<\/p>\n
The wide range of subjects the children had decided to speak about was fantastic . We were particularly focused\u00a0on speaking with loud and clear voices , maintaining eye contact with the audience and trying to make good use of props , photographs and PowerPoint presentations to hold the listeners attention . What amazing bunch of confident individuals !<\/p>\n

We are thoroughly enjoying learning about Planet Earth . This week we have been learning about how the continents of the world have changed over time . \u00a0We now know that the Earth’s surface is made up of tectonic plates and that these have moved over millions of years .<\/p>\n
We enjoyed watching video clips of Iceland . This demonstrated where the North American and Eurasian plates are moving apart .<\/p>\n
We are really looking forward to exploring Volcanoes next week at school .<\/p>\n
