Happy Monday to everyone!\u00a0 I hope that you are all keeping well and are following the guidelines to keep healthy.\u00a0 I wanted to give you an update on what I have been up to in the last week!<\/p>\n
The past week has been a very busy one for myself and all of the other Head Teachers in our area.\u00a0 Our school is now a Hub School for the Bellshill Locality, which includes Viewpark, Tannochside and Birkenshaw.\u00a0 The schools involved are…<\/p>\n
Cardinal Newman, St. John Paul II, Holy Family, Sacred Heart and St. Gerard’s.<\/p>\n
Bellshill Academy, Lawmuir, Noble, Mossend, Aitkenhead, Tannochside.<\/p>\n
Laburnum Family Learning Centre is also a hub and is taking in children from the area too.<\/p>\n
St staff of St. John Paul II were the first to offer their services in setting things up to ensure that all children and families were made to feel at ease and welcomed in a strange school with new faces and new routines.\u00a0 Thank you to all of them.\u00a0 True professionals, as always.<\/p>\n
Going forward, staffs from all of the schools have been put on a rota to work which enables us all to keep healthy and safe.<\/p>\n
The children who are attending the Hub are children who’s parents\/carers are BOTH Keyworkers in either Category 1, 2 or 3.<\/p>\n

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE<\/strong><\/td>\n| 8am \u2013 9am<\/td>\n | Some supervision available.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n | THE SCHOOL DAY<\/strong><\/td>\n | 9am \u2013 3pm<\/td>\n | HTs and School Staff lead the children throughout the school day.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n | AFTER SCHOOL CARE<\/strong><\/td>\n | 3pm \u2013 8pm<\/td>\n | Staff from Active Schools, Community Learning & Development and Culture & Leisure North Lanarkshire support children and lead activities.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n | Lunch is offered for children from 12:30pm.<\/p>\n \u00a0If you have any questions regarding this, please call the school.\u00a0 The office is not always staffed, but those in school will try to help if they can.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Happy Monday to everyone!\u00a0 I hope that you are all keeping well and are following the guidelines to keep healthy.\u00a0 I wanted to give you an update on what I have been up to in the last week!
