Throughout the year, teachers communicate with parents and carers in order to inform them of their child’s progress.<\/p>\n
For this purpose, we have divided the school year into four sections with one form of reporting being delivered for each section.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
1. August – October Break<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Parents will receive a written Interim Repor<\/strong>t which is a shorter, less detailed version of the end of year report issued in June each year. The Interim Report<\/strong> will normally be issued during the week before the October Holiday.<\/p>\n 2.\u00a0October – December<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n During this term, parents and carers will be invited to Parents’ Night<\/strong>, usually during the month of November. This is a chance to meet your child’s teacher on a one-to-one basis. Each appointment lasts 10 minutes and these normally run from 3:30pm – 9pm in the school halls.<\/p>\n 3.\u00a0January – April<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n During this term, parents and carers will be invited to Parents’ Night<\/strong>, usually during the month of March. This is a chance to meet your child’s teacher on a one-to-one basis. Each appointment lasts 10 minutes and these normally run from 3:30pm – 9pm in the school halls.<\/p>\n 4.\u00a0April – June<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n During the final term, parents and carers will receive an Pupil Progress Report<\/strong>. This written report gives a fuller picture than the Interim Report and it summarises the progress a pupil makes throughout the entire school year. These are normally issued in mid June.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At all times of the year, the homework diaries<\/strong> serve as a means of communication between parents and the school.
