St Joseph\u2019s Pupil Voice Committees<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At St Joseph\u2019s, every pupil belongs to a school committee, working together across stages with support from Lead Teachers. These committees give children a real voice in shaping our school community and provide meaningful opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and inclusion.<\/p>\n

Each committee develops its own aims and takes part in projects and tasks that help achieve their shared goals. Through this, our pupils make a genuine difference within St Joseph\u2019s and in the wider community.<\/p>\n

Being part of a committee helps pupils grow as Effective Contributors<\/strong> and Responsible Citizens<\/strong>, as outlined in the Curriculum for Excellence<\/em>. They build confidence, take responsibility, and learn how their actions can positively impact others. Committees also support the development of a wide range of meta-skills<\/strong> and skills for learning, life and work<\/strong>, helping pupils prepare for future challenges in and beyond school.<\/p>\n

Our approach is linked to the UNCRC<\/strong> and the UN Global Goals<\/strong>, encouraging children to understand their rights, take part in decision-making, and work towards creating a fairer, more sustainable world.<\/p>\n

At St Joseph\u2019s, our pupils\u2019 voices matter\u2014they lead, they influence, and they help our school community thrive.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pupil Council \u2013 Mr. McCloskey<\/p>\n

House Champions (vice and house Captains) \u2013 Miss. Clark<\/p>\n

Tune in Time \u2013 Mrs. Baxter<\/p>\n

Digital Team- Mr. Walsh<\/p>\n

Road safety- Mrs. McFaulds\/Miss. McMahon<\/p>\n

Community Matters- Mrs. Doyle<\/p>\n

Charities Committee- Mrs. McAlinden<\/p>\n

Eco Committee \u2013 Mrs. McHugh<\/p>\n

Reading School- Mr. McIntosh<\/p>\n

Health Busters- Mr. Kerr<\/p>\n
