The Primary 6 pupils that will be their Buddies in Primary 1 visit the nursery several times &amp; complete their \u2018Pupil Passport\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Teaching staff work closely with nursery staff to ensure that the transition from nursery to Primary 1 is as smooth as possible for our learners.<\/p>\n<p>An information afternoon is also held for parents to ensure that they have all the details that they need to support them as their child starts school.<\/p>\n<p>If a child has additional support needs, meetings will take place with parents and any other agencies involved to ensure the correct support is in place from the outset.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our pupils have a very structured transition programme from nursery into Primary 1.
