March in Primary 5

This month, Primary 5 have been very busy and having lots of fun! We made the most of the sunshine while celebrating British Sign Language Week, learning how to sign the alphabet and proudly showing off our new skills, don’t be surprised if your child starts signing their spelling words at home, as we’ll now be using this to help us practise!

We also turned into energetic Easter bunnies as we organised and ran our very own “Hopsticle” course for the whole school, raising an amazing £55 for our Lenten charity (lots of hopping and giggling were involved!).

On top of that, we’ve been diving into the magical world of Disney, learning all about it while rehearsing for our upcoming school show, we are so excited and cannot wait for all our grown-ups to come and watch us perform!

It’s also been a slightly emotional time as we said goodbye to 6…7, but we’ve cheered ourselves up by discovering our new obsession: chicken banana! Every Friday now ends with our legendary chicken banana dance… and yes, it’s just as silly as it sounds!
