P3/4 worked in pairs on the iPads to research their new topic, The Rainforest. We used bullet points to make notes on what we had learned.
Maths
We have been rounding up or down to the nearest ten, we made a human number line to practise rounding and learned the rule that if it is the middle number, we always round up.
Literacy
We have been given our new reading and spelling groups and have been working hard on our new phoneme words as well as our common word lists. We learned the spelling strategies; phonics knowledge, words within a word and syllabification.
