The children are settling back into our nursery environment now we have moved back into our own space. We are delighted to have access to our nursery garden again.

Circle time in the garden
The children have been enjoying having circle time outdoors. This has provided lots of opportunities to explore simple addition and subtraction by counting on and back during number songs and rhymes.

Exploring Nature
Being in nature is beneficial to our children’s all round health and wellbeing. Our children enjoy exploring nature on a daily basis. This includes in our nursery outdoor area, parks and our local environment.

Planting
The children have been learning about growth. Today, we planted seeds and discussed what seeds need to grow. Most of the children were able to name and identify the basic parts of a plant.
