The mud kitchen is proving very popular with the children and it is wonderful to observe them so absorbed in their play. They are learning so much as they pour, measure and mix to make lots of lovely food! The children also develop their social skills as they share , discuss and negotiate with each other. Playing with materials like mud and interacting with the natural environment is beneficial to the children’s wellbeing.

Class of 2016…Nursery Graduation

We were very proud of every girl and boy in the nursery today.  Everyone learned their words, sang, danced and performed so well.  Thank you very much to everyone who helped at home to make this such a professional performance!

ECO Action day!

May 17, 2016 by User deactivated | 0 comments

The children enjoyed learning about looking after their world on Eco Action day and were ready to take part in fun activities wearing their brown and green clothes. They enjoyed learning how to look after our environment by litter picking and had lots of fun collecting all the rubbish. We watched a power point about Eco and listened to interesting facts. Some of the children talked about their own experiences, such as putting their litter in the bin and recycling food. The children also reused plastic bottles in the water for pouring and filling and made fantastic models, such as cannons, a bed and a house, using junk boxes. Well done everyone, what a fun day we had!.
