Our children in St Edward’s are on our journey to becoming a Laudato Si\u2019 school in Scotland.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Laudato Si Schools CHANGE FOR GOOD is an invitation to all schools to respond to the call to be stewards of God\u2019s creation. The Holy Father\u2019s<\/p>\n

challenges us to do this in his encyclical, Laudato Si, and his global<\/p>\n

compact on education during 2020<\/p>\n

\u201cIn his letter, Laudato Si\u2019, Pope Francis asks us to love God, look after each other and protect the world. He tells us about the challenges we are facing in our world and asks us to make things better.
\n\u201cThat is why we want to become a Laudato Si\u2019 School, to love God, look after each other and protect the earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe climate is a common good, belonging to all and meant for all\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat kind of world do we want to leave to those who come after us, to children who are now growing up?\u201d<\/p>\n

St Edward’s Primary will\u00a0 commit to Laudato Si\u2019, and we look forward to many activities throughout the year to show the vital role schools play in changing the world.<\/p>\n
