VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS WITH A CHILD DUE TO<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

START SCHOOL IN AUGUST 2022<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Please share this email with anyone who has a child starting school in August 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pl<\/span>ease read the information below regarding\u00a0online registration.<\/b><\/p>\n

Registration of Infant Beginners 2022<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1 March 2022 and 28 February 2023 should register for starting Primary 1 in August 2022.<\/p>\n

Enrolment<\/a><\/span>\u00a0forms are available to complete online and should be emailed directly to the school at\u00a0<\/span>enquiries-at-st-davids@northlan.org.uk<\/a><\/span>. Completed applications along with supporting evidence should be emailed to the school no later than\u00a024th<\/sup>\u00a0January 2022.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting evidence can be scanned or a screen shot sent of your child\u2019s birth certificate and council tax\/utility bill.<\/p>\n

Placing Request<\/a><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0forms are available on-line and can be emailed to\u00a0<\/span>ef.placingrequests@northlan.gov.uk<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Transport forms<\/a><\/span>\u00a0are also available online and paper copies can be requested from\u00a0<\/span>ef.transport@northlan.gov.uk<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Choosing a school booklet can be downloaded from the Scottish Government website\u00a0<\/span>www.scotland.gov.uk\/Publications\/2010\/11\/10093528\/0<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parents\/carers who wish to make an early entry request should contact their catchment area school download an\u00a0<\/span>Early Entry request form<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and send to\u00a0<\/span>ef.placingrequests@northlan.gov.uk<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

A new system has been put into place for Registration of Infant Beginners to support our ongoing response to COVID-19.<\/div>\n

Parents\/carers of children who attain the age of five years between 1 March 2021 and 28 February 2022, should register by 22 January 2021 for starting Primary 1 in August 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

A new interactive Primary 1 Enrolment Form is available (see below). Parents\/carers can enrol online and submit a copy of their child’s brith certificate and council tax\/utility bill to their child’s\u00a0catchment school<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Parents\/carers who want\u00a0to defer entry for their child to primary school and apply for an additional year of part-time pre-school should register their child for school as described above and complete the deferred entry application form. This\u00a0document is available\u00a0from the school.<\/p>\n

Early Entry Placing Requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parents who consider their child to be mature enough to be in attendance at school but who miss the official registration date by a short<\/strong> period may apply for such a placing request.<\/p>\n

Information regarding such requests may be had from the Head Teacher or nursery staff.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
