Kilbowie Day 3

A wet day for all today. It didn’t rain but there was certainly a lot of cold water involved. Have a look at the photographs and you will see what we mean. Both groups walked through a gorge. The water was freezing cold especially when it filled up our wellies. In the afternoon, Group 1 went on an adventure walk, built a camp fire and toasted marshmallows. Group 2 were back on the water canoeing. They rowed over to the island of Kerrera. You can see the distance they rowed in one of the photographs, where some of the children are standing on the shore and the Kilbowie Centre is on the other side of the water. This evening, the children played an outdoor game called Airport and managed to find some time to rehearse their lines for Aladdin, just before supper.
