It was the last session of the Step Up Programme this evening. Everyone enjoyed a variety of activities. Amazonia came along and we got to hold a snake, cockroach, tarantula and a tortoise. Next we moved onto some Brazilian Samba Music where we kept the beat using Agoga Bells and Drums. Our last activity was Zumba, keeping fit in time to music. A big thank you to Kristin for the fantastic sessions she organised for our children and their parents. We can’t wait for the next time.

No wonder I didn’t hold that spider, it looks even bigger in the photos! Well done to all the braver people who didn’t even flinch.
Thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, thank-you Kristin.

I was very impressed by how brave the Primary 6 boys were with these exotic animals.
What great rhythm we all had in the drumming, watch out Britain’s Got talent!

The pictures from the night are fantastic! I’ve enjoyed seeing all the posts from the Step-Up Programme on here – it was a great programme and thanks so much to all the families who attended and Miss McKenzie and Mrs. Murphy who also attended and participated full heartedly!
Look out for more activities for parents and families after the Easter holidays!
