St. Brigid’s Feast Day

On the feast of St. Brigid we celebrated by going up to our Church to take part in the community Mass. The whole school was there, especially P6 because we were leading the mass by doing the readings, offertory and the bidding prayers. We made sure that our behaviour was especally good because it was such a special day. When we were doing the readings we took our time and we didn’t rush it, we made sure it was perfect. We were a bit shy and we tried our best to be confident. We set a good example to the younger ones in P1 and P2.

We learned how to be more confident at reading in front of people. Our teachers were very proud of us. We also learned how to read more clearly when reading. It was a really big job because we represented our school in a community event. It was a brilliant way to celebrate our St. Brigid.
