<\/a><\/p>\nA few things to start our year:<\/p>\n
A wee reminder of our school day timings:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n P2 \u2013 P7 children 8.50am-9.00am<\/em>. We operate a \u2018Soft Start\u2019 and all children should be in school for 9am.<\/p>\n Primary 1 Pupils<\/em>\u2013 10am start (tomorrow only) Please bring pupils to the school hall. We ask that only 1 or 2 adults accompany each child to the hall. This is to help create a calm and smooth transition for all pupils.<\/p>\n All pupils will be dismissed at 3pm<\/em><\/strong>. As in previous years \u2013 P1 & P2 will be dismissed at the main entrance, each child will be handed over to their parent\/carer by the Class Teacher.<\/p>\n P3 \u2013 P7 will be dismissed through the infant yard.<\/p>\n We ask all adults NOT to enter the yard at any point for Health & Safety reasons.<\/p>\n \n Nursery \u2013 Returning Children<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Our nursery staff are looking forward to welcome back returning children at 8.50am.<\/p>\n Pick up time for nursery children \u2013 doors will open at 2.45pm.<\/p>\n We ask that all parents observe drop off\/pick up times for both school and nursery. If there are any concerns around this please speak to a member of SLT.<\/p>\n \n Friday 15th<\/sup> August \u2013 Holy Day of Obligation<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Friday 15th<\/sup> August \u2013 This is the Feast of Assumption, as it is a Holy Day of Obligation P2 \u2013 P7 pupils will attend Mass in the parish at 9.30am. Due to this being Primary 1 pupils\u2019 2nd<\/sup> day of school we will not take them to Mass on this occasion.<\/p>\n Weekly Blogs<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Our weekly blog will return on Friday 22nd<\/sup> August \u2013 please make sure you check it out to find out what has been happening in St. Brendan\u2019s.
