{"id":4106,"date":"2020-08-10T20:06:39","date_gmt":"2020-08-10T20:06:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stbrendansps\/?p=4106"},"modified":"2020-08-10T20:36:26","modified_gmt":"2020-08-10T20:36:26","slug":"welcome-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stbrendansps\/2020\/08\/10\/welcome-back\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome Back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to a new school year in St. Brendan\u2019s Primary &amp; Nursery.<\/p>\n<p>We are very excited to welcome back the boys and girls, and are looking forward to meeting our new Primary 1 children.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday \u2013 P1, P2 &amp; P3 should attend<\/p>\n<p>Thursday \u2013 P1, P4, P5, P6 &amp; P7 should attend<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; All children to attend<\/p>\n<p>Nursery \u2013 Following on from the letters issued at the end of term, Nursery staff will be in touch on Tuesday 11<sup>th<\/sup> August (inservice day) to discuss their return to nursery.<\/p>\n<p>Just a little reminder about the coloured zones which pupils should use when arriving and leaving school.<\/p>\n<p>Nursery \u2013 Green zone (gate with ramp close to staff car park. School staff will be on hand to supervise and direct the children. ONLY nursery parents will be in the grounds to drop off and collect their child from nursery. If it is a particularly wet morning, pupils should enter through their zone where staff will direct them straight to their class.<\/p>\n<p>The school bus will be met by a member of staff, who will direct\/accompany the children to their coloured zone.<\/p>\n<p>All classes will be accompanied by the class teacher to their coloured gate at the end of the school day. Primary 1 &amp; 2 children will be handed over to their parent\/carer at the yellow gate.<\/p>\n<p>School will start at 8.55am for all pupils (with the exception of P1 on Wednesday) and finish at 3pm.<\/p>\n<p>We appreciate that this is different from what we are used to, and hope that we can work together to adapt to our new routines and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your co-operation,<\/p>\n<p>The St. Brendan\u2019s Team<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to a new school year in St. Brendan\u2019s Primary &amp; Nursery.
