\nThis term we are focusing on narrative, explanation and instructional writing.\u00a0 We’ve enjoyed our writing lessons and have written some excellent narrative stories so far.\u00a0 We have been using our class blog to add all our ideas.\u00a0 We’re looking forward to using our new topic, ‘The Ancient Egyptians’ to write some explanation and instructional pieces!<\/p>\n
\nThis term in maths we have been learning about multiplication and division.\u00a0 We’ve enjoyed our active stations and have found some fun songs on Youtube to help us remember our tables.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>We have started to learn all about the Ancient Egyptians.\u00a0 Miss Kennedy has been so impressed by all the things we already knew about this ancient civilisation.\u00a0 We have given Miss Kennedy lots of ideas about things we would like to learn about and can’t wait to get started.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>The children had the opportunity to listen to professionals about their jobs during our World of Work afternoon.\u00a0 The children heard from a nurse, police officer, bio scientist, an engineering student .\u00a0 The children took part in activities related to each job.<\/p>\n
