We have been very busy here in Primary 7 since returning after the Christmas holidays. We have been continuing on with our IDL theme ‘Britain’s Cultural Diversity’, looking at various religions and cultures within our society. This week we have been focusing on Buddhism, particularly the festival of Wesak. Next we will be creating a dot painting using cotton buds of the actual Buddha himself. The children have also been enjoying the snow days that we’ve had since our return. We had lots of fun with our snowman competition, and although our class didn’t win, we thought our snowmen bride and groom was fabulous!
