Update from P1C and P1S<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are so proud of our new Primary 1\u2019s, they have settled very well into school life and are working hard in all areas of the curriculum.<\/p>\n

We have been learning about People in our Community through our IDL topic. The children have been developing various skills during our purposeful play activities. As well as reinforcing their new skills we have also been learning about the different jobs people have and how they can help us. We have been researching various jobs including; doctor, dentist, postal worker, firefighter and lollipop person. Some of the fundamental skills we have been learning during our topic are; working as a team in the construction area, taking on the role of different characters in our doctors surgery and post office, and letter formation and drawing in the writing area.<\/p>\n

We hope Primary 1 have enjoyed their first term at St. Brendan\u2019s as much as we have!<\/p>\n
