Primary 5 have been having lots of fun since starting back in August and have settled in well to their new class.<\/p>\n
We have also been privileged enough to have had a BEd student in working with us and she made wonderful, multi-coloured parrots with the children as part of our interdisciplinary theme. We also took a stroll down to Baron’s Haugh with Primary 6\/5 to compare the similarities and differences between a typical forest in this country with a rainforest.<\/p>\n
In maths we have been focusing on place value and addition\/subtraction and we are enjoying the variety of active and written tasks. We are also thoroughly enjoying our modelling block novel, ‘The Queen’s Nose’, and we have been very enthusiastic to see what happens next.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
