As you will be aware, children are at their best when they are engaged in messy activities. In
\nthe Nursery we endeavour to protect your child\u2019s clothing against these elements but this is
\nnot always possible. Therefore we ask that you do not dress your child in their best clothes to
\nNursery. We also ask that you do not wear football clothing or jewellery or other items that
\nmay restrict your child\u2019s movement or cause him \/ her any distress as they see to their
\npersonal hygiene needs, which is part of North Lanarkshire\u2019s clothing and personal effect
\npolicy.<\/p>\n
A Nursery sweatshirt and polo shirt are available but not essential. Please contact Nursery
\nfor suppliers.<\/p>\n
To access all areas of the curriculum, the children will take part in a variety of Outdoor Play
\nactivities in all types of weather conditions therefore it is important that you ensure that your
\nchild is suitably dressed for the weather conditions. Wellingtons and soft shoes can be left in
\nthe Nursery, provided they are labelled. The Nursery are able to provide outdoors clothing
\nand wellingtons if required.<\/p>\n
To ensure the safety of the children in the Nursery we ask that all children wear soft shoes
\nwhile in the Playrooms.<\/p>\n
The children will be allocated a specific peg for their coat and their shoebox, which will be
\nclearly marked with their name. We ask that you mark all your children\u2019s\u2019 belongings with
