Take Away Theatre Company joined us in St Bernard’s to perform their anti bullying production ‘Hope’. <\/p>\n
It told the story of a successful pop star who returned to her hometown for the first time in years and experienced a chance encounter with an old classmate. This brought back painful memories of the abuse and bullying she had suffered at the hands of her classmate. <\/p>\n
This was a wonderful performance depicting and strengthening the important anti bullying message that has recently been examined and explored in classes across the school. The children throughly enjoyed the performance and it undoubtedly provoked a range of feelings within them – as you’ll see in the pictures! Primary 4-7 explored this all important topic further, in the follow up workshops provided.
