ECO

This is St Bernard’s Eco-Committee 2017-19

‘School Grounds’ is one of the areas our Eco-Committee decided to work on in our present Eco-Schools
Action Plan.
The Eco-Committee worked alongside the school’s Health & Well-being Committee and the Pupil Council to improve our school yard and playground.

This has been an overwhelming success!!

The photos here show a fantastic improvement in our School Grounds. All pupils are improving their heath and well-being and fitness, as well as having great fun in our yard at intervals and after-school clubs.

This is St Bernard’s Eco -Committee 2016-2017.

We have 28 members in our Eco-Committee this year, ranging from P1-P7.

As there are so many members in P4, P6 and P7, the pupils serve for a term each.

This will be a very busy year for us as we are hoping to renew our ‘Green Flag Status’ which means we are working towards our 6th Green Flag.

The 3 topics we are concentrating on this year are –

LITTER, TRANSPORT and SUSTAINING OUR WORLD.

Watch this space for more Eco news throughout the year.
