We have been busy in class. In maths, we have been learning about halves. We can work out how many halves can make a whole, we can count in halves.<\/p>\n

In reading, we are looking at non fiction books and learning to use the contents page correctly.<\/p>\n

Everyone is enjoying finding out new information about interesting animals, places and people. Some of us are reading about the banana spider!<\/p>\n

In our topic work, we are also learning new facts. This week, we have read and researched information about the sea turtle. We have written reports about the life cycle of a sea turtle and we have created our own sea turtles after looking closely at them in their underwater environments.<\/p>\n

Also, we have learning a new sound this week, the ee sound, and using it to write new words and sentences.<\/p>\n
